What a fantastic weekend! the place was just perfect, very cozy, with beautiful and comfortable rooms. One of the best things was definitely the breakfast: delicious homemade dishes, fresh fruits and warm bread, all served in a lovely dining area with a garden view. Another great aspect was the location, which allowed us to enjoy the town's attractions and get an authentic taste of the local culture. we appreciated the complimentary snacks, adding to the homey feeling of the hotel.
Perhaps we'd have liked bigger TV screens, but we were too busy exploring the area anyway.

Guests can take day trips to Gruene, Austin, and San Antonio, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. the Deer Haven building offers comfortable accommodations for families, with plenty of bed space and a full kitchen. the breakfast served in the beautiful dining area is delicious, creating a warm atmosphere for starting the day. the owners, Margy and Darrell, are attentive and gracious hosts, ensuring that everything is just right for their guests.

The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. I also enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing stay.
The cleanliness of the rooms was not up to par. There were noticeable dust and dirt in various areas, which made the overall stay less pleasant.
